Yoga is not just a physical practice. Anything we do to improve ourselves is yoga...
— Ash

When yoga found me, I was an absolute mess.  For 18 years I was in a complete fog of psychiatric drugs to control my symptoms of Bipolar Disorder, and for 4 years I was struggling daily with debilitating chronic pain from a back injury and two cervical spine surgeries.  Simply put, I was lost, and yoga found me so that, in turn, I could find myself.  In a very short time, I began to notice my physical pain was decreasing and becoming more manageable, and my mind and emotions were shifting for the better as well.  I’m now in the best shape of my life, and have not taken any prescription drugs in years.  Yoga truly saved me; not just as a physical practice, but as a complete and comprehensive science of mind, body, and spirit healing.

I have been fully immersed in teaching yoga and studying Ayurveda for many years now.  The deeper I go into work on myself and with clients, the clearer it becomes that the true and permanent healing happens on a deeper energetic level, not just the superficial.  I work as an Intuitive Calibrator to guide my clients in fully harnessing the power of their intuition in order to heal and become the greatest expressions of themselves.  I offer marma therapy as well as Ayurvedic, meditative, and spiritual guidance.  I have found that the combination of all these modalities bring about the most profound and long-lasting results.

I received my RYT 200 and RYT 300 hour trainings at the Sampoorna Yoga Ashram in Miramar Florida where we didn’t just learn how to teach yoga; we learned how to completely transform our lives in order to reach our sovereign self.  It is said that “Yoga is a step by step process”.  And step by step, through daily practice of Hatha Yoga, meditation, positive thinking, proper diet coupled with marma therapy and Ayurveda, I have transformed myself from a physically and emotionally broken and lost individual to a strong, confident, and effective woman.  This transformational journey I have taken has not only benefited me and my family, but it is beneficial to each of my wonderful clients as I am all the more confident and prepared to assist them in their own journey toward their best selves.

My goal in this path is to show each of my clients that labels and diagnoses are not set in stone as Western medicine may try to have us believe.  Anyone can achieve anything they put their mind to, and I strive for those I work with to truly feel empowered that my words and teachings don’t just come from some book or theory, but they come from direct experience.  Yoga teaches us that we are all divine, and that the purpose of life is to realize that truth within.  Yoga is not just a physical practice.  Anything we do to improve ourselves is yoga, and with this in mind, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

Hi! I'm Spartakiss, the Collective Clearing Canine. I work with my mom, but I wouldn't really call it work because it's so much fun! She says that I'm an "Intuitive healer" and "Emotional Support Dog". I don't really know what that means, but I love teaching and traveling with her everywhere she goes. She says I'm not HER dog; I'm the world's dog, and we're just on a healing mission together, learning and teaching. On my mom's path of healing, she learned from direct experience how beneficial animals truly are.  She says she saw something special in me and knew that I was meant to heal so many besides her. It's so much fun to go around just being in love with everyone I meet and letting them love me back! My mom and my late sister, Skylar rescued me from a junk yard when I was just a baby, and it has been such a beautiful and magical journey ever since. She always says, "Skylar came to learn. Sparta came to teach..." I'm really excited to meet you. Making new forever friends is my favorite thing to do! Also, I love running on the beach, hiking, and finding sticks...Oh, sticks are my favorite!

I have had the good fortune of meeting Ashley as she dedicates her time with military service members and veterans striving to heal. Ashley has a keen awareness of others as it relates to healing. She epitomizes what it means to really care and shows extraordinary compassion. Furthermore, as an instructor, her incredible knowledge of yoga, her skills and her pursuit to learn new techniques to help others she has been an incredible asset. Ashley has made a positive impact on assisting our rehab team in the conservative management of chronic pain, stress and concomitant injuries our veterans often endure. One veteran had inferred that being introduced to Yoga and some of the techniques Ashley has shared has “saved his life.” Ashley has enhanced my growth in understanding alternative approaches to caring for others. She has instilled in me a venue to relax, balance, and a special way to connect to others that I cherish her for. In gratitude,

I have been taking private yoga classes with Ashley for over 6 months. She is an amazing yoga instructor and healer. She helped me navigate my healing journey from breast cancer with strength and compassion. Ashley is intuitive and knows exactly what my body needs. She is always learning new concepts and incorporating them into my practice. She is highly disciplined and punctual. The greatest thing about Ashley is that she has a fire to serve others and it shows! Thank you Ashley for your love and dedication to my growth and healing.

In the beginning I was reluctant to think about yoga as a practice that would make a difference in my life. I thought it was for eastern cultures , not for me. After sticking with it for a couple of years , mainly because our teacher Ashley made it dynamic and relaxing at the same time, I have to say l really look forward to the yoga class every Tuesday. I even try to convince my neighbors to give it a try because of the benefits our yoga class brings to our lives. I was lucky enough to find Ashley because she brings warm , dynamic , and calming energy all in one.

Ashley is a wonderful teacher and guide in my practice of yoga. For quite some time now, I have participated in her class and found Ashley to be an enlightened soul who truly cares about her students. She allows each student to work at their own pace and toward their own goals with her hands-on guidance. I thoroughly enjoy her class and always look forward to the next.
